this casa used to have heat. now it doesn't. blah blah needs a filter. smelled gas smell last time. yadda yadda. there's the fear of landlords. yes. understandable. quite. fear of rent raising. but I'm 70% water. and there's a large amount of that percentage that is made up of ice chips! I can't pay 1/2 the rent if I'm frozen into a block of ice.
I just called the landlord! self-preservation wins out over fear of a possible rent raise.
as icy cold frozen shivering pathetically miserable as I am now I would rather suffer this than be a 26 year old horse with arthritis living my last four days, or the girl saying goodbye to my horse today for the last time, or the mother of the girl saying goodbye to her horse.
after I figure out some way to warm up. there must be some way! there are new movies to watch. pan's labyrinth, the illusionist and the queen.
