The building manager asked me to sign a congrats on the new baby card for the neighbors in 2d. They now have the screaming 1 year old and a screaming newborn. what else could I sign except for good luck. Good luck to us all. Thank you for earplugs and that they don't play banda music. Or fire semi-automatic weapons. Yes, the new neighborhood is still better. I have seen one bounce-house or heard one rooster. We still yearn for a garden and not to hear any of our neighbors but it is an improvement. Thank you thank you thank you.
The recent counting of calories is going very well. I have limited funds so therefore limited choices which meant in the past that I'd just feel sorry for myself and eat a lot of what I felt I was forced to eat. Now, different mind-set. I am Emile Hirsh playing Christopher Candless in Into The Wild knowing that I have a limited bag of rice and I measure it out carefully and savor every morsel. I went out hunting yesterday at the ranch market and got a jalapeno for 4c and chopped a bit up to add to the rice. Mmmmm! Mighty nice! I can do this. I will be tightening up my belt to prevent the pants from falling down but I will not starve to death. I feel a wee bit trimmer. The true challenge will be next week when I have money to keep making good prudent choices. I know what to do. I just have to do it.
Twice now I have gotten calls from wrong numbers. This used to be the number for a sibling that I added to my line to be nice. No good deed goes unpunished and I was stuck with added line for over a year. I dropped mine when the contract was up and took over this number. I don't help out the callers. I don't offer them the current number or tell them that the party that they want to reach wouldn't pick up the phone anyway. To hell with it. My siblings are idiots. Please help me forgive them.
